Bio:
Jackeline Olivier is a graduate from Stella Adler Academy of Acting. A passionate pursuer of the dramatic and performing arts would describe Jackie. I love drama; dying, crying fight scenes. Let's go for it! I'm not afraid to go to those places. I love character work and I'll play anything- the professional, the innocent, the bitch, the druggie, and the femme fatale. Jackie leaves her ego behind to embrace broken and complex characters.
Originally from Porto Alegre , in the south of Brazil, Jackie gets cast as every ethnicity, not only the typical Latina . My look is VERY adaptable.
Jackie began early. At age ten, her teachers schoolmates and family encouraged her to pursue acting. That was it, my fate was decided!, laughs Jackie.
Now, 10 plays, 17 films and numerous TV appearances later, Jackie continues to live on the passionate edge of her art and continues to grow in its dimensions and depth.
Her Equity-waiver ensemble production of Pilgrims of the Night at the Stella Adler Theater won Jackie raves from LA Weekly.
It was a 'physically exhausting' role involving fourteen onstage 30-second wardrobe changes, 120 lighting cues, 70 sound cues and 30 video cues. She co-produced it and created her own wardrobe.
I love theater: the hard work, the effort. It takes months to build a production set, just to run for a couple weeks, but I LOVE that unique tingle of fear that comes only with live theater. I've done 8 plays in the last 2 years.
She's still training and she is a member of the Filmmaker's Alliance, The Creative Actors Alliance and the LA Filmmakers.
1) Day of the Dead 2, any Ana Clavell stories?
Not particularly, she's a talented woman, who has the ability to wear a lot of different hats in the entertainment industry.

2) Socom II & Spy Kids 3:Game Over, how weird to be a voice actor, did you like the experience?
I loved it; it's a challenge. It requires a little more of your imagination, because you have to create a world and interact with characters that are not there. Most of the time is just you and the microphone. With dubbing it is a little easier, you get to watch the scene once or twice, then record the voice.

3) Werewolf in a Women's Prison. A great role was it the most fun?
I had a great time on the set, the crew and cast were amazing. I had no idea that playing a 'sadistic lesbian prison guard' would be that much fun. I really enjoy torturing and whipping the female prisoners.
Who would've thought, considering that everybody thinks that I'm a goooood girl. I had to do an extensive background work for this character. (joke)

4)On/Off set, What do co-workers deem the BEST of Jackeline?
They think I'm very professional, passionate, committed, organized, that I pay attention to little details, and that I care.

5) " On/Off " the set, what's the WORST of Jackeline?
Well, I guess because I care too much, sometimes I become anal and demanding. Not everybody's heart beat at the same pace. They usually say 'RELAX JACKIE', and that for me is almost impossible, considering that I'm very energetic and a little hyper sometimes.

6) Noticed you've worked in various countries, Has this helped your career?
Living and working in different countries gave me experience and knowledge about different cultures. It helped me to understand HUMAN BEINGS a little more, is also helps me in creating different characters with different backgrounds. But when it comes to book the job, it won't make a difference whether you lived and worked in 20 countries or just in the US.

7) What came first modeling or acting, why switch? Or have you?
I always wanted to act, but living in small city in the south of Brazil, I didn't have a lot of opportunities to pursue my dreams. So I started out doing a little modeling, then I moved to the BIG CITY and worked my way up to do what I love the most.

8) One word descriptions---
a) David Heavener: knowledgeable,
b) Jeff Leroy: industrious,
c) Carmen Electra: smart

9) Dancing is part of you, do you like ALL the Dancing Shows on TV?
Dance has been part of my life for a long time. I don't have much time to watch TV, but 'Dancing with the Stars' is one show that I enjoy watching.

10) Well, Here is your chance-Give us "The World According to Jackeline" speech?
My perfect world would be filled with love, peace, healthcare and food for everybody. But in this not so-perfect world we live in, I do my best by being fair, honest and good to people. It goes with that famous expression "YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU GIVE". I think you should never give up your hopes and dreams, enjoy your life and make every minute count. Life is too short and too precious to be wasted.
